In this round, our training places a special emphasis on female students, offering comprehensive training in the fundamentals of Python programming. The curriculum extends to cover crucial domains such as data science, and machine learning and culminates in advanced AI concepts.
This initiative, led by Dr. Seid Muhie Yimam from the University of Hamburg, represents a significant stride towards narrowing gender gaps in technology and fostering diversity within the tech industry in Ethiopia. The collaboration with the ICT4D group at Bahir Dar University underscores a commitment to bridging disparities and advancing opportunities for women in the field of computing.
